Control method for a multipump system, and multipump system

The method involves determining a total head expression of a multipump system from a set of characteristics of the multipump system, where the characteristics of the multipump system are provided as a pressure (Pout) of a fluid. A total flow of the fluid through an output pipe (OUT) is determined from the total head expression and another total head expression. The total flow of the fluid is allowed to correspond to an intersection point of a curve corresponding to the former total head expression and another curve corresponding to the latter total head expression. An independent claim is also included for a multipump system.
