According to one embodiment of the present invention, the backlight unit includes: a light source unit including a plurality of light sources emitting light; and a light spreading member located on a light emitting plane and spreading or diffusing the light emitted from the light source unit. The light spreading member includes a reflecting unit changing a path of the light inside.
