The joint (1) has two joint segments (2, 3) rotatable relative to each other. A damping device comprises two piston cylinder dampers (10, 11). One of the piston cylinder dampers is arranged on a side of a center longitudinal axis of the joint and extended between the two joint segments. The damping device is adapted such that damping torque acting on the joint is equal in positive and negative direction of rotation at moment of reversal of direction of rotation in angular position of the joint segments. Each piston cylinder damper includes a piston rod and a piston received in a cylinder.
