The present invention relates to a surface treatment method and apparatus for a stainless separator for a fuel cell wherein the invention is capable of forming a carburization diffusion layer by means of a high-density plasma carburization treatment, thereby, capable of enhancing corrosion resistance by making the stainless separator have a low current density, in addition, capable of enhancing an electrical conductivity by making the stainless separator have a low contact resistance, capable of maximizing an ionization rate of a source for carburization by using a hot filament or an ICP when conducting a carburization process, and thereby being capable of increasing a carburization efficiency, and capable of improving an occurrence of a surface depletion region caused by running out of chromium (Cr) within the stainless separator for a fuel cell in a conventional method. |
