A heater according to the present invention is a heater installed on a room to heat outer air introduced into the room. The heater according to the present invention comprises: an outer air duct installed on the room to introduce outer air; and a heating unit arranged long and horizontally in a lengthwise direction to be able to heat the outer air introduced into the room through the outer air duct. The present invention can suck clean outer air smoothly into a deckhouse or an engine room in a ship during the operation of air intake conditioning as sufficient heat is emitted in a cryogenic environment with a temperature of -52°C such as the region of the arctic ocean by arranging a heat-radiating blade longer in the lengthwise direction of the heating unit than ever to increase the surface area of heat radiation. Also, the present invention can suck clean outer air and can increase heating efficiency by sufficiently removing humidity included in the outer air.
