<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel device capable of reducing a burden of a driver when performing the rotating operation of a steering wheel quickly and widely, while maintaining good operability when a vehicle is running. <P>SOLUTION: In the steering wheel device 1, a storage hole 7 is formed in a left spoke part 6 of the steering wheel 2, and a supporting member is provided in the storage hole 7. A knob 19 is fixed to the supporting member. The knob 19 is supported at a use position and a storage position by the supporting member. When the use condition is not met, the knob 19 is locked at the storage position by a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism is controlled by a controller. When the use condition is met, the storage position is unlocked to unlock the storage position and lock the knob 19 set to the use position by energizing force of a spring.
