The present invention relates to an apparatus for acquiring sign language motion information and converting the same into a text. More specifically, the apparatus comprises: a position sensor for acquiring position information of a hand and an arm of a user; and an electromyogram sensor for acquiring muscle movement information of the user. The sign language motion information of the user shown as the position information of a hand and an arm of a user and the muscle movement information that the position sensor and the electromyogram sensor acquire is data-processed to convert the signal language motion information into the text. According to the apparatus for acquiring the sign language motion and a text conversion system of a sign language motion using the same of the present invention, by making sign language motion information of the user into a data form by using the position sensor which acquires the position information of a hand and an arm of a user and the electromyogram sensor which acquires the muscle movement information of the user, the sign language motion information can be acquired with simple portable equipment, and a fine movement of a finger can be exactly acquired. In addition, according to the present invention, by further including a communications module to the apparatus for acquiring sign language motion and making the same communicate with a user terminal such as a smart device, the present invention can make a conversation between the user who directly speaks with the sign language and a user who would like to understand the sign language easy. |
