<p>The method involves utilizing a confocal endo-microscopy system for detecting fluorescence signals emitted by methylene blue injected into a sample (13) e.g. biological tissue, where the system has an image guide (6) constituted of a flexible optical fiber for exciting the tissue by scanning a light beam e.g. laser beam. The light beam has wavelength ranging between 600-680 nanometers, and the methylene blue has a concentration ranging between 0.1-0.01 percentages.</p> |
