<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for a water purifier, by which air within the cartridge is rapidly discharged without allowing a filter medium within the cartridge to flow out, a water purifier, and a method for producing the cartridge for water purifier. <P>SOLUTION: The cartridge for a water purifier comprises a casing and a filter medium within the casing for filtering water, whereby filtration is performed by water's own weight. The cartridge for a water purifier is characterized by comprising the filter having the mesh opening the maximum length of which is less than the minimum value within the particle size range of 90 wt.% or more of the filter medium on the side of the casing in the upper part in the vertical direction from the filer membrane and the bottom of the casing, and having the following relation: L×H>13.5, L (mm): the maximum length of the mesh opening, and H (mm): the length (height) in the vertical direction from the lower end to the upper end of the filter on the side of the casing in the upper part in the vertical direction from the filter membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
