<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for liquefying and saccharifying a starch-containing substance to obtain a monosaccharide by liquefying and saccharifying starch in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for liquefying and saccharifying the starch-containing substance, a liquefying enzyme and a saccharifying enzyme are mixed in the starch-containing substance containing rice-washing drain and/or starch separated from the rice-washing drain to carry out the liquefying reaction and saccharifying reaction at the same time, so that the starch contained in the starch-containing substances makes monosaccharide. As starch is saccharified by the saccharifying enzyme immediately after liquefied by the liquefying enzyme, the reaction time can be further reduced than the reaction when starch is saccharified and liquefied in separate steps. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
