<p>Phthalate-free plasticizer preparation comprises (in wt.%): (a) an alkyl sulfonic acid aryl ester (I) (5-95); and (b) a benzoic acid ester of a monohydric alcohol (II) (95-5), where the sum of the weights of the components is 100 wt.%. Phthalate-free plasticizer preparation comprises (in wt.%): (a) an alkyl sulfonic acid aryl ester of formula (R 1>-SO 2-O-R 2>) (I) (5-95); and (b) a benzoic acid ester of a monohydric alcohol of formula (R 3>-C(O)O-R 4>) (II) (95-5), where the sum of the weights of the components is 100 wt.%. R 1> : 10-21C alkyl; R 2> : phenyl (optionally substituted by 1-4C alkyl); R 3> : phenyl; and R 4> : 9-10C alkyl. An independent claim is also included for a plastic, preferably PVC containing the above plasticizer preparation.</p> |
