<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for a battery electrode plate manufacturing device which can determines a period of replacement of an ultrasonic joining tool of the battery electrode plate manufacturing device more suitably, and an inspection device which uses the inspection method.SOLUTION: An inspection method for a battery electrode plate manufacturing device includes inspecting a horn 20 and an anvil 30 for joining a substrate 10 of a battery electrode plate sandwiched between a processing surface of the horn 20 and a processing surface of the anvil 30 and a lead 15 arranged on the substrate 10 with an ultrasonic wave. The inspection method for the a battery electrode plate manufacturing device includes: a detection process of detecting, as abrasion loss, a step between a center part of a processing surface, larger in width than the lead 15 between the processing surface of the horn 20 and the processing surface of the anvil 30, which corresponds to the position of the lead 15 and an end part which does not correspond to the position of the lead 15, at least one of the processing surface of the horn 20 and the processing surface of the anvil 30 being larger in width than the lead 15; and a determination process of determining a period of replacement of at least one of the horn 20 and anvil 30 based upon the detected abrasion loss.</p> |
