COMBUSTOR WALL ASSEMBLY FOR A TURBINE ENGINE

A wall assembly (58; 60) of a combustor (56) for a turbine engine (20) includes a shell (94) and a liner (98) and a sealing interface structure (58; 60). A cooling cavity (110) is defined between the shell (94) and liner (98) and the sealing interface structure (121) functions to minimize leakage out of the cooling cavity (110). The sealing interface structure (121) may have a sealing width (130) that is equal to or greater than twice the thickness (131) of the liner (98) and/or may include a chamber (136) located between longitudinal segments (138, 140) of the sealing interface structure (121) that inhibits leakage.
