The present invention relates to a relay apparatus including: a relay module which performs wireless relay to enable a wireless communications terminal to be connected to a wireless communications network; a communications module which communicates with an operation server; a storage module which stores integrated firmware data received by the communications module; and a control module which updates the relay module. The control module can extract firmware data, corresponding to the relay module, from the integrated firmware data stored in the storage module and can update the relay module according to update control information transmitted from the operation server. According to the present invention, an operator can prepare firmware data integrally based on a type of the relay module by selectively extracting and updating the firmware data based on the type of the relay module. Therefore, convenience for managing update history of multiple relay apparatus can be provided. The operator can accurately check a update progress process in a remote place as a firmware update progress status is frequently reported to the operation server. The operator can selectively set update time of the relaying apparatus located in a remote plate and thus can operate and manage a communications network in an easy manner even firmware of multiple relay apparatus is updated. |
