POWER GENERATION APPARATUS USING OCEAN WAVE AND THE METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a power-generating apparatus using ocean waves, and, more specifically, to a power-generating apparatus using ocean waves and a method thereof for the most efficient absorption of ocean wave energy to generate power and remarkably improve the power generation efficiency. The power-generating apparatus using ocean waves of the present invention comprises: a support fixture; a cycloid pipe combined with the support fixture to make a seesaw movement; a winding coil wound in the cycloid pipe with an electric wire; a moving axis fixated along the central axis of the cycloid pipe in the winding coil; and, an armature made of a magnetic body combined with the moving axis to make a sliding movement. The power generation efficiency of the power-generating apparatus is remarkably improved by increasing the moving speed and the moving distance of the armature by ocean waves.
