The present invention relates to a wireless, multi-hopping, and multi-carrier TV white space (TVWS) network device for increasing power efficiency, and a method thereof. The device uses a battery during peak power time instead of commercial power as a power source for a TVWS backhaul device. The present invention can efficiently use the commercial power during peak power time to prevent the shortage of power supply and increase power efficiency. The wireless, multi-hopping, and multi-carrier TVWS network device for increasing power efficiency includes: a TVWS base station which executes a power-saving operation during peak power time and matches packet data to convert radio frequency (RF) signals; and a TVWS member device which executes another power-saving operation during peak power time and is matched with a member terminal to transmit and receive the RF signals with the TVWS base station. |
