The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device having a simple structure by minimizing the tool and optical components. The liquid crystal display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a liquid crystal display panel including a lower substrate and an upper substrate facing each other and bonded together while having a liquid crystal layer there-between; a rear cover including a floor support unit supporting a light source module emitting light to the lower surface of the liquid crystal display panel, an upper part support unit supporting the edge of the lower surface of the liquid crystal display panel, and a side wall unit between the floor support unit and the upper part support unit; a diffusion sheet arranged on the lower part of the liquid crystal display panel to cover the floor support unit of the rear cover; a sheet attaching member which is formed on the edge part of the diffusion sheet to be attached to the lower surface of the liquid crystal display panel; an optical sheet unit arranged between the liquid crystal display panel and the diffusion sheet; and a panel coupling member which is coupled to the edge of the lower surface of the liquid crystal display panel and to the upper part support unit of the rear cover.
