摘要 The present invention refers to a process for electrodepositing copper, which is performed in a container that includes the solution, this solution containing the metal ions required to be deposited and the electrolyte; the electrolyte may be an aromatic or aliphatic aldehyde and/or a mixture thereof with acetic acid and two inert electrodes connected to a power source, this arrangement being the distinctive characteristic of the invention. The anode loses electrons when energy is applied from an external power source. Said anode is a wire made of tin. In this manner the ions are formed and passed to the solution and moved to the cathode (copper sheet) that is negatively charged. The electrodeposition of the ions dissolved in the anode is produced over the cathode. The process is performed in heterogeneous phase at room temperature and in an open system. The emittance, absorbance and selectivity were determined in the plates covered with this process. The present method does not show the formation of byproducts generally found in this type of processes such as toxic products. The process is not only environmentally friendly but also affordable and highly suitable as the battery of 6 electro volts may be easily replaced by solar energy and the water recirculated.
