The present invention provides a device to measure a water content in a fluid like oil using capacitance. The measuring device comprises: a capacitance sensor (30), and a signal processing unit (20). The signal processing unit (20) comprises: a signal generating unit (510), an interface circuit (520), an analog to digital converter (ADC) (530), a micro controller unit (MCU) (550), a communications channel (590), and a driving unit (570), thus allowing to accurately measure a water content included in the oil. |
