The present invention relates to a method (500) for determining the location of a relay node with respect to a sensor device in a building. The method includes: a step (510) of having measuring devices arranged in a first location and in a second location in the building measure the quality of a communications channel between the first and second locations; a step (520) of having measuring devices arranged in multiple different third locations in the building and the first location measure the quality of a communications channel between the first location and the third locations, when the communication channel quality does not satisfy a reference value; and a step (530) of determining a location with the best quality of the communications channel while the quality of the communications channel between the first location and the location from the third locations is within the range of the reference value. |
