<p>The device (12) has movable upper and lower flaps (14, 16) for forming a part of a closed outer surface (18) at an end region of a rail vehicle (10). The upper and lower flaps form spoiler structures (24, 30) i.e. rear spoilers, in an opened state and/or a closed state of the device, where the spoiler structures project from the closed outer surface of the device. The spoiler structures reduce total air resistance of the rail vehicle. The upper and lower flaps completely cover a coupling device arranged in the end region of the rail vehicle and is driven by an assigned drive. The upper and lower flaps are designed as multi-part flaps. An independent claim is also included for a rail vehicle.</p> |
