The present invention relates to a marker-detection composition for detecting ectopic olfactory receptors included in a non-olfactory cell and a kit comprising the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an effective method enabling easy and systematic selection of ectopic olfactory receptors expressed in the non-olfactory cells with high sensibility and can be a useful tool for selecting ectopic olfactory receptors by using olfactory marker proteins (OMP).
