The present invention relates to an opening and closing apparatus for a rear spoiler installed on a rear side of a vehicle, allowing the foldably installed rear spoiler on the exterior of a trunk to be folded when the vehicle is driven at a lower speed and to be unfolded only when the vehicle is driven at a high speed. The opening and closing apparatus for the rear spoiler comprises: the rear spoiler (71) rotatably installed on both ends of a chassis (70) through a hinge; a motor (73) fixated to the chassis to be positioned on the center of the rear spoiler; a shaft (77) rotating since the driving power of the motor (73) is transferred by a power transferring means; a link (78) fixated to the shaft to rotate at a predetermined angle; and a bracket (79) installed on the center of the rear spoiler to be coupled to the link (78) through a hinge. |
