FIELD: packaging industry.SUBSTANCE: method comprises placing over the food product of the film sheet 10 having front and rear edge parts, raising the food product and the film, folding the edge parts of the film around the food product 12 using the upstream 16 and downstream 18 folding elements on the stage of raising the product and the film and moving the sealing plate 22 against the downstream 18 folding element for sealing the edge parts of the film 10. At that the movement of the plate 22 against the downstream 18 folding element comprises displacement of the sealing plate 22 relative to its support 24 to compensate for dimensional deviation and orientation of the food product during sealing of the edge parts. The device for implementing the method comprises a diverter lifter in contact with the bottom of the product 12 and lifting it from the first position to the second, a pair of side supports 32 that hold the film sheet 10 over the product in the first position, and between which there is a gap for passing of the product through it, the upstream 16 and the downstream 18 folding elements for folding the front and the rear edge parts of the film around the product when the product is raised from the first position to the second, a pair of grips 20 which are in contact with the sides of the product 12 wrapped in film 10 and hold it in the second position, when the lifter is moved backwards, and a sealing plate capable to move close to the downstream 18 folding element and below the product 12 in the second position for sealing the parts of the film 10 and forming a sleeve around the product. And the sealing plate 22 is displaced relative to its support 24 to compensate for dimensional deviation and orientation of the product during sealing the edge parts of the film.EFFECT: group of inventions provides increase in quality.18 cl, 13 dwg |
