FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to updating of ammonia reactor with hot wall that has body with the hole arranged over the portion of its cross-section. Updating of ammonia reactor with hot wall that has body with the hole arranged over the portion of its cross-section. Implementation of this process comprises the steps that follow. Catalytic cartridge (7) is assembled from modular elements directly inside body (2). Note here that sizes of said modular elements are suitable for their feed into said body through body hole (6) arranged over the portion of its cross-section. Note also that every said element is provided with at least one panel (11). Modular element panels (11) are arranged so that to make a cylindrical outer wall (7a) of cartridge (7) and circular flow section (8) between said outer wall and body inner wall. Note here that heat-insulating layer (13) is fitted in panels (11) before their fitting in body (2).EFFECT: possibility to recover the body after fault in operation at high temperature, operation of reactor at lower temperature, higher safety and reliability.7 cl, 4 dwg |
