The invention relates to a centrifugal separator the rotating bowl (1) of which is provided with tapered structures divided into sectors (7) separated by angularly offset gaps (9) so as to promote a uniform and spiral flow of fluid therein said flow being laminar and greatly enhancing the efficiency of the separation.
