<p>The present invention relates to a peptide based drug for the inhibition of angiogenesis. More particularly peptides based drug are derived from the sequence of lysyi oxidase (LOX) enzyme which inhibits the enzyme activity and hypoxia induced angiogenesis. The said peptides are derived from the conserved regions among the LOX isoforms. The current invention also provides a method for the treatment of angiogenesis. The present invention also provides a drug composition & a kit for the treatment of angiogenesis.</p> |
