The invention discloses a video file processing method, a server and a client. The method comprises steps that: video files uploaded by users are received; shooting time and position information are extracted from the video files; at least two files of which time and position correlation satisfies the preset condition are determined to correlated video files; when a request sent by the client to acquire data content of a certain video file is received, and other video files correlated with the video file exist, the data content of the video file and related information of the correlated video files are returned to the client, so the other correlated video files are played when the video file is played at the client. Through the method, the user can see the playing effect of one same event from multiple aspects, and the utilization rate of the videos shot by the users is improved. |
