The present invention relates to a system for the safe use of domestic gas cylinders by using a GSM broadcasting device for remotely turning off the domestic gas cylinders. The system involves the use of a GSM module to communicate with the mobile device, an interface MAX232/233 to facilitate communication between the GSM module and the microcontroller and a microcontroller to activate the relay circuit which in turn controls the gas flow with the help of solenoid actuated valve.
