The invention provides a handwriting verification method and device. The method comprises the steps of receiving a character to be verified input into a verification area through handwriting, comparing the time correlation feature distribution of the character to be verified with the time correlation feature distribution of a corresponding reserved standard character to obtain the conformity of the time correlation feature distribution of the character to be verified and the time correlation feature distribution of the reserved standard character, comparing the feature stroke spatial distribution of the character to be verified with the feature stroke spatial distribution of the corresponding reserved standard character to obtain the conformity of the feature stroke spatial distribution of the character to be verified and the feature stroke spatial distribution of the reserved standard character, conducting weighting on the obtained time correlation feature distribution conformity and the obtained feature stroke spatial distribution conformity according to a predetermined weight to obtain the final conformity of the character to be verified and the reserved standard character, and determining that the handwriting is verified when the final conformity exceeds a preset conformity threshold value. By the adoption of the technical scheme, the accuracy of identity confirmation based on handwriting verification can be improved. |
