<p>The method involves setting an engine control device in a state i.e. partial waking up state (RP), in which functionalities of the engine control device necessary for heating the fuel are activated after detection of an event preliminary to start of an heat engine, where setting of the control device in the waking up state is triggered by sending a specific request signal to the control device. The fuel is heated (H). The heated fuel is conditioned based on preset authorized heating conditions. The conditions include a condition corresponding to check a criterion according to that heating is authorized (C1), a condition corresponding to existence of an error signal related to a heating device of the fuel (C2), and a condition corresponding to determination of ethanol level contained in the fuel (C3).</p> |
