There is provided a process for producing an indole compound.
A process for producing an indole compound of formula (2) (R 2 =H) characterized by using an acylating agent and a base together when 2-nitrobenzyl compound of formula (1) is reduced with a metal and an acid; a process for producing an indole compound of formula (2) (R 2 =halogen) characterized by reacting the indole compound of formula (2) (R 2 =H) with a hydrogen halide acid and a sulfoxide compound; and a process for producing a sulfamoyl triazole compound comprising reacting the indole compound of formula (2) directly with 3-chlorosulfonyl-1-(N,N-dimethylsulfamoyl)-1,2,4-triazole in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst and a base.
