<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine valve gear oil supply mechanism in which rocker arm oil passages are provided in intake and exhaust rocker arms for supplying oil to slide contact portions between the rocker arms and intake and exhaust cams, respectively, and rocker shaft internal oil passages leading to these rocker arm oil passages are provided in intake and exhaust rocker shafts, respectively, capable of ensuring a supply quantity of oil to the rocker arms irrespectively of changes in the numbers of revolutions of the cam shafts.SOLUTION: A communication oil passage 164 bypassing intake and exhaust cam shafts 77 and 79 is provided in a cam shaft support portion 82 so as to lead to an oil supply passage 165, and intake and exhaust journal oil passages 166 and 167 guiding oil to intake and exhaust cam shaft bearing portions 82a and 82b, respectively and a branch oil passage 168 continuous to the communication passage 164 so as to guide the oil to an oil passage leading to a rocker shaft oil passage are provided in the cam shaft support portion 82.</p> |
