A power generation system management device has: a range information management means for managing a generated-power output range for state determination that corresponds to a range that must at least have a prescribed probability of including generated-power output at a prescribed measurement point of a power generation system and is determined on the basis of the standard deviation between representative generated-power output values at the measurement point that are calculated from a pseudo-system model generated using a nonparametric method using a plurality of generated-power output values for model construction that are the power output for model construction at the measurement point and the generated-power output values for model construction; a generated-power output value acquisition means for acquiring generated-power output measured at the measurement point as power output values for state determination; and a state determination means for comparing the plurality of generated-power output values for state determination with the generated-power output range for state determination and determining the state of the power generation system on the basis of the comparison result.
