A layered composite component of which a surface material is linked to a base material by engaging convexities, wherein problems such as slackening and lifting up of the surface material are more appropriately prevented regardless of differences in thermal expansion. A retaining part (52) for engaging with and retaining engaging convexities (42) has a prescribed length, the engaging convexities (42) are allowed to relatively movement in a direction parallel to a design surface due to the difference in thermal expansion between a surface material (24) and a base material (20), and problems such as slackening, wrinkling, and lifting up of the surface material (24) caused by the difference in thermal expansion are therefore appropriately suppressed, improving product quality. Specifically, because the engaging convexities (42) can move relative to the base material (20), the difference in thermal expansion is lessened (diluted) by movement towards peripheral portions which have a small difference in thermal expansion at room temperature or the like, and localized slackening or lifting up of the surface material is suppressed in cases such as when the engaging convexities are restrained to a fixed position. |
