The present invention relates to a base frame for a flat display panel. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the base frame for a flat display panel is a base frame supporting the external outline of the flat display panel, which may include: a frame body which is arranged on the eternal outline of the flat display panel, has a frame space inserted with a part of the external outline of the flat display panel, and a frame edge part which surrounds the edge of the flat display panel; and a supporting body which is arranged inside of the frame body and has a buffer space which distributes the shock concentrated on the edge of the flat display panel by being installed to support the external outline of the inserted flat display panel. |
