The present invention provides electronic communication technology for a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an image display device for safe driving of a vehicle calculates the relative physical quantity of at least one observed neighboring vehicle, dynamic object, or static object around a driven or parked vehicle and displays the calculated information with at least one among real image information and virtual graphic information, thereby inducing a driver of the driven or parked vehicle to safely drive the vehicle and reducing traffic accidents as much as possible. Furthermore, even when the vehicle is driven in bad weather such as rain, snow, or fog or at night, the calculation information including the relative physical quantity of at least one neighboring vehicle, dynamic object, or static object detected by a radar signal can be monitored in real time. Therefore, a traffic rule where relative acceleration, relative velocity, and safe distance between the vehicle and at least one neighboring vehicle should be observed specifically in bad weather is notified to drivers to establish a developed traffic culture. In addition to this, serious or sudden accidents can be prevented to improve the quality of life in our community. |
