PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image evaluating device, an image evaluating method, and a program capable of quickly determining with high accuracy whether or not an image having a non-permitted stripe defect is printed on printed matter.SOLUTION: Based on a differential value between sample image information stored in a sample image information DB 13 and an inspection target image information read by a reading unit 18, a stripe-like defect is extracted from an inspection target image. Then, visibility of the stripe-like defect extracted by an extraction unit 20 is evaluated by an evaluation unit 22. |
