<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated pigment excellent in designability.SOLUTION: A coated pigment has a ferrite layer on the surface of a substrate, and the substrate is a metal substrate in which a translucent base material or a translucent layer is formed on the surface. The ferrite layer contains a ferrite of MFeO(M is a di- or trivalent metal ion and x is a positive number) and includes three or fewer ferrite particles of a major diameter of 20 nm or greater in an indeterminate or a determined form when observed at a magnification of one million by using a transmission electron microscope.</p> |
