PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic semiconductor element using a picenodithiophene which is easily producible and useful for electronic devices.SOLUTION: An organic semiconductor element has an organic semiconductor layer 11, and the organic semiconductor layer 11 contains a picenodithiophene compound. The picenodithiophene compound consists of at least one of picenodithiophene and its derivatives.
