<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent air from being drawn in from a suction port while achieving size reduction by holding down the external dimension of an oil strainer.SOLUTION: An oil strainer comprises: a cylindrical suction portion (80) protruding downward from a bottom (71a) of a body portion (71); a suction port (78) provided in a lower end of the suction portion (80); and a floating member (74) that is disposed at a position surrounding the suction port (78) and that can float on an oil level (L) of oil, the suction portion (80) includes a first suction cylinder (72) connected to the bottom (71a) of the body portion (71) and a second suction cylinder (73) having the suction port (78) formed in a lower end portion (73c) thereof, the suction portion (80) having a multiple stage configuration in which the second suction cylinder (73) is connected to the first suction cylinder (72) to be relatively movable in an axial direction, the floating member (74) is attached to the second suction cylinder (73) and is configured so that the second suction cylinder (73) and the floating member (74) integrally move in the axial direction.</p> |
