<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection device which can be miniaturized and can improve versatility.SOLUTION: The object detection device includes a light source, a coupling lens, a light deflector 204, an imaging lens 28, a photodetector or the like. When reflected light from an object is light reflected by a first end, the reflected light is reflected by a rotary polygon mirror and made incident on the imaging lens 28. On the other hand, when the reflected light from the object is light reflected by a second end, a part of the reflected light is rejected by the imaging lens 28, made incident on the light deflector 204, reflected by the rotary polygon mirror, and made incident on the imaging lens 28. At this time, a received light quantity by the photodetector when the reflected light from the object is the light reflected by the second end can be made almost coincident with the received light quantity by the photodetector when the reflected light from the object is the light reflected by the first end.</p> |
