摘要 The present invention defines multiple synchronizing signal resource candidates from/in which a synchronizing signal can be transmitted or detected. The base station according to the present invention transmits a synchronizing signal from a synchronizing signal resource, which corresponds to at least the cell identifier of a cell which is associated with the synchronizing signal, the time synchronization of the cell, the length of a cyclic prefix which is applied to the cell, or the type of the base station, among the multiple synchronizing signal resource candidates. The user equipment according to the present invention can obtain information on at least the cell identifier, the time synchronization with the cell, the length of the cyclic prefix, or the type of the base station, on the basis of the synchronizing signal resource in which the synchronizing signal has been detected.

A method for receiving a synchronization signal by a user equipment, the method comprising: receiving the synchronization signal on one synchronization signal resource among a plurality of synchronization signal resource candidates; and at least detecting a cell identity of a cell including the synchronization signal, acquiring time synchronization with the cell, acquiring length information of a cyclic prefix (CP) applied to the cell, or identifying a type of a base station transmitting the synchronization signal, based on determination as to which synchronization signal resource candidate among the plurality of synchronization signal resource candidates is the synchronization signal resource carrying the synchronization signal, wherein each synchronization signal resource candidate of the plurality of synchronization signal resource candidates is defined at least by one or more frequency resources among a plurality of predesignated frequency resources or by one or more time resources among a plurality of predesignated time resources.
