An elevator control device that reliably detects malfunctions whereby power supply cannot be cut to a hoisting machine and a brake when an error has occurred in an elevator and is capable of suppressing worsening of elevator operation efficiency, as a result of: being configured such that, if an error has occurred in the elevator, the operation of a hoisting machine power supply unit (120) and a brake power supply unit (140) is stopped and power supply to the hoisting machine and the brake is cut, by semiconductor switching elements (181, 182, 191, 192) switching to an OFF state; and by being configured so as to diagnose the existence of malfunctions in the semiconductor switching elements on the basis of voltage values detected from the semiconductor switching elements, after a semiconductor switching element to be diagnosed has switched to the OFF state during malfunction diagnosis of the semiconductor switching elements. |
