PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for heat-treating elongated metal components.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for heat-treating at least one elongated metal component 2 in one continuous process. The metal component 2 is guided to pass through a furnace 1 and a module disposed downstream which has a water tank and a retention part, and a microstructure of the metal component 2 is adjusted. The atmosphere inside the furnace 1 is circulated to always move around.
