The shovel has a blade with a front, a back, a proximate end, and a pointed distal end, a handle joined to the proximal end of the blade, and a fulcrum member projecting behind the back of the blade. In some embodiments, the fulcrum member's vertical position is adjustable; in additional embodiments, the blade is serrated or the shovel has footrests. |
