PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route selection method, node apparatus, relay system, and program for making it possible to suppress increase in the number of hops while ensuring an arrival rate, with a simple method.SOLUTION: A route selection method includes a node apparatus's processes of: calculating a reception rate of a frame of a specific frame type transmitted from an adjacent node apparatus, calculating an arrival rate of a unicast frame on the basis of the calculated reception rate and a frame length, and calculating the inverse of the calculated arrival rate as a link cost; acquiring, from the adjacent node apparatus, a route cost for each route from the adjacent route to each reachable final destination, and multiplying the acquired route cost by the calculated link cost to calculate a route cost of a route from the node apparatus to a node apparatus of each final destination reachable through the adjacent node apparatus; and selecting, in transmitting a data frame, an adjacent node apparatus to be a transmission destination of the data frame on the basis of a route cost of a route from the node apparatus to a final destination of the data frame. |
