<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of preventing deformation of a recording medium due to heat.SOLUTION: The inkjet printer comprises a color detecting sensor 24 that detects density of a recorded image for a recording medium after recording, which measures density of an image after the recording. One scanning portion of the density of an image is detected, the detected density is compared with a previously stored density threshold and gray level of the image is determined. When there is a large difference between them, it is determined that a recording medium 2 is deformed. The gray level is detected while changing a temperature of the recording medium 2 and a temperature at which there is no gray level difference is detected. Thus the recording of the recording medium 2 is performed by changing the temperature thereof, so that the recording medium 2 can be prevented from being deformed, and high quality image recording can be performed.</p> |
