<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of query processing in an environment where a plurality of database systems hold the same data.SOLUTION: A virtual database system management device 10 is configured as follows: acquiring an execution plan and an execution result of the content of a query from a quest execution section 16, to be managed as an execution history management table 17; acquiring and managing resource use information of database systems 20a, 20b; determining data to be held redundantly and a database where the data are arranged, from the information; issuing an instruction to the database systems to create data; an updating information in a logical database management table 12a and a physical database management table 12b in a database management section 12, to select a more appropriate physical database in response to an input of a new query statement.</p> |
