A lens securing structure with which a lens is secured in a lens frame by means of adhesion, wherein the lens has: a lens section having multiple optical surfaces; a lens side surface section which is the side surface of a region sandwiched between the outer circumferential parts of the multiple optical surfaces that are located at both ends in the direction along the light axis; and a connecting section which, in order to enable the application of an adhesive agent, is provided so as to protrude farther in the direction along the light axis than the lens side surface section, on the outside in the radial direction from the outer circumferential part of the optical surfaces. The lens frame has a hole section into which the connecting section is inserted, and a hardened body of the adhesive agent is provided at least between the connecting section and the inner circumferential surface of the hole section, thereby securing the lens and the lens frame. |
